Have you ever tried making your own hummus? It’s easier than you think. Try it yourself with our simple recipe:
2 x 400g can chickpeas
3 garlic cloves
Juice of 1 lemon
4 tsp tahini
6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Salt & pepper
Drain chickpeas and blend in a food processor with garlic, tahini & lemon juice. Add olive oil gradually until you achieve a nice thick consistency. That’s it!
You could add some coriander to the basic recipe to make it lemon & coriander and for a zingy chilli hummus, use our chilli oil and add a couple of teaspoons of chilli flakes.
